Ganesha Chaturthi Special

Ganesh Chaturthi Special

 Significance of Lord Ganesha

Poornam kudumulu

Poornam kudumulu is famous ganesh chaturthi recipe. This is prepared on the day of vinayaka chavithi for offering the lord ganesha with this tasty sweet. Lord vinaya likes to eat kudumulu more on this day so gain lord ganapthi blessings by giving naivedyam to him. There are lots of varieties in kudumulu some make with jaggery, some with wheat etc. Here I have choosen Bengal gram as main ingredient in making of poornam kudumulu. Make this tasty sweet for vinayaka on vinayaka chaturthi day.

Palathalikalu / Pala thalikalu

Pala thalikalu is a ganesh chaturthi recipe. Vinayaka chathurthi is incomplete without this sweet. Palathalikalu is most common sweet prepared on the occasion of vinayaka chavithi as naivedyam to lord ganesha. It is a traditional sweet prepared in Andhra on the day of ganapathi chathurthi. This pala thalakalu is popular in Guntur district. Since Milk is used in making of this sweet, it gives more taste. Tiny pieces melt into the payasam and give an awesome taste. Some use coconut grate to make this sweet. But my recipe is completely different and sure it won’t take much time. Enjoy preparing palathalikalu on vinayaka chaturthi.
